Job Title: Business Development Manager (Data Center)

Job Overview: Gamasky Technology, a leading data center service provider in Malaysia, is seeking a Business Development Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and driving revenue growth in the data center sector. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong understanding of the data center industry, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in business development.


Key Responsibilities: • Client Engagement: Identify and engage with potential clients in the data center and IT infrastructure sectors. Understand their specific needs and propose tailored solutions that align with Gamasky’s service offerings. • Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research to identify emerging trends, business opportunities, and competitor activities in the data center industry. Stay informed on regional and global market dynamics. • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, equipment suppliers, and government agencies. Cultivate long-term partnerships to drive repeat business. • Strategic Partnerships: Identify and establish strategic partnerships with vendors, service providers, and other stakeholders to enhance our service portfolio and expand market reach. • Proposal Development: Prepare comprehensive business proposals and presentations tailored to the needs of potential clients. Negotiate terms and conditions to close deals and secure new contracts. • Project Coordination: Work closely with internal teams, including operations, project management, and technical teams, to ensure successful project execution and client satisfaction. • Sales Targets: Meet and exceed sales targets and objectives. Contribute to the company’s overall growth strategy through proactive business development and client acquisition. • Government Liaison: Engage with government agencies to stay updated on regulatory requirements and explore potential incentives or grants for data center projects. Navigate compliance issues and advocate for Gamasky’s interests.


Qualifications: • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, preferably in the data center, or relevant industries. • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering (Electrical & Mechanical), or a related field. • Skills: o Strong understanding of data center operations, infrastructure, and market trends. o Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. o Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and government officials. o Proficiency in market research, financial analysis, and strategic planning. o Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on innovative solutions and strategic thinking. • Language: Proficiency in English and Malay is required. Knowledge of Mandarin is a plus.
